Gann, y'all have got me curious about that big wire run that is in front of the gauges from the factory. Is moving that underneath something that can be done with a stock head unit or is that only possible with an aftermarket one? I'd be interested to see how that is done if anyone has any pics.
In the photo that SBates posted it almost looks like those wires are gone. My 2010 Ultra Classic has massive bundles of wiring that don't look like they want to \be relocated.
Not the Harness Sir! His issue was the speaker wires and RCA's on top of the amp. The amp surface has to be flat in order to get the fairing buttoned up.

Well dang, when I saw that bit 50 pair looking bundle up top was missing from the photo I got real curious. On my bike that thing looked like it was pretty much there to stay because of all the little wires coming out of it in different directions. Like SBates said I guess there may not be anywhere for it to go with the stock head unit.
It works fine as it is now and I still had room enough under the stock head unit for the CB module, GPS power supply and noise filters. It the future though I might like to upgrade the SS amp to a Rockford Fosgate 100x4 if I can find out how to drive the rear speaker pods.
Couple questions...
What size power and ground is that? It looks really small and looks to be the heavy stiff stranded wire.
What speaker are you bridging to?
