I need to replace the antenna cable on my 14 Limited. Couple of questions for the experts:

Do the in fairing antennas work as well as stock?
Does the antenna cable run as one piece from tour pak antenna mount to radio?
Is HD the only source for the cable?

 

I'm sorry, but the only answer I know for sure is, the fm antenna wire has a disconnect at the tp. It's not 1 piece from the radio to antenna mount.

 

Found the connection under the tp. Now just need to find a source for the cable that runs from there to the antenna. Will check with the dealer this week.

 

same issue with 08 ultra to change the cable is a nightmare !!! I put the harley antenna in the fairing works great
