2016 RGU CVO upgrade
A friend of mine has a 2016 cvo road glide ultra and in the market for a system upgrade. Boom stage I & II are out if the question but has the following requests:
Keeping the HU
four speakers system
not losing any functionality e.g. radio and bluetooth.
water proof
highway speed good sound quality.
budget is not a problem.
TIA

I'm no radio consultant like some of the guys on this site. I'll tell you what I did though.
Rockford Fosgate TM400x4AD marine amp
Hogtunes replacement front speakers
RF wiring and amp kit
RF 6x9 DIY bag lid kit
Kicker 6x9s
I wear hearing aids when not on my bike, lost most of my high frequency hearing, still have pretty decent mid range and my low frequency is normal. I cruise down the freeway at 80mph every day, with a full face helmet, and I can hear my music just fine. Some will disagree, but I've always enjoyed RF products in my cars/trucks and figured they were a good start for my first bike upgrade. I've had this for a few months now and absolutely love it.
I started with Hogworkz bag lids...was not very happy with that particular product. The DIY kit from RF is very easy and looks really good IMO. Hope this helped.
