Do you have speakers in your lids now? Again you wont be able to hear anything side mounted in your bags going down the road.

Sturgis have you ever rode a bike with bag speakers pointing toward the wheel??
With your response and comment if I had to take a WAG I would have to say NO.

With my little 6 speaker setup (fairing tour pack pods and bag speakers) I can hear my bag speakers up to and over the posted speed limits on the highway with out a problem.
The bag speaker set up I have doesn't wash away completely until 85+.

So until you have been there done that dont knock it.

No sir they are not subs they are a mid driver. Subs require dedicated air space and I have full use of my bags still other than the rear portion were the speaker is mounted. So the rear mounted speaker should indicate what size speaker is in there if you follow any type of bag speaker installs

Like I said, I've been hanging around Gann too long. And that was point I was trying to make to supertrkr. Never be able to hear subs from the bags at speed. Mids hell yea. I have the original bags that came with my scooter and was thinking about adding some mid 10's in those.

well at the risk of pissing people off who do not read or understand the English language. My first statement said "i am ignorant". Now by definition that means I don't know so your rant and accusation of me "knocking" anything was unnecessary to my inquisition of "why?"
was there something about "I don't get it", that you don't get.

But thank you for you colorful explanation .
