Stinger SPX700X4
Anyone try the new Stinger amps.
Have a car stereo distributer by my house. Stopped in to see what he likes for the reason he can't sell me anything and maybe give me honest advice rather than a sales pitch. He clames they are one of the better ones they have sound dynoed. Not sure what others he has tested. Might have to back again.
Hell, I could have bought a system by now with all the gas I am using to try and research this stuff.

Dude share in the open!! There are no secrets with this stuff.
Yes I did a bike with one the other day to try out. If you are running pro audio speakers this amp could work out well for the right price point. It's small enough to fit on bikes, sound was better than average. Downside is all the speaker inputs are pigtails vs terminal and that's a pain the **** to connect and get's messy with more wires. I think retail is 379.00 to 399.00, for around that price you can get a JL 400/4 that has FAR superior sound quality even if provides less power it's just a better amp that we're dealers for. So given the options with close pricing I'd take a JL amp. I don't think this amp will do what it claims output wise on a bike with less voltage....125w is unlikely. Not a bad amp at all, but not earth shattering great either. Another option in that price point and power is the Soundigital 800.4, but they don't come variable crossovers.
