Default Need reflash if replacing Boom Audio amp & Stage 2 speakers?

After spending stupid money on a Boom Audio Amp and Stage 2 speaker setup for my 2017 RGS, I am completely unimpressed with the performance of this system.

I am thinking of removing the Boom Audio components and replace them with a BT 2180.14 amp and Titan speaker setup which I got a good deal on.

If I install the BT setup will I need to have the HU reflashed, and if so, what flash should be used? I've heard that 4 speaker/0 amp is best.

Thank you.

You are correct on the 4 speaker/0 amp flash. I have heard that if the dealer flashes for an amp that will flatten out the eq curve from the boom box and it will work without a line leveler but have never tried it. Shoot haze on here a pm and ask him. He never uses line levelers in his installs.

That flash won't work with an after market install, especially BT LL's. Also if you are looking for ease of install I would use that amp but consider different speakers.
