I fit one above and one below a std marine Kenwood head unit KMR M318BT. The amp below does not touch the head unit at all, the amp above does come in contact since it sits on the back third so I placed a thin piece of rubber between them. It’s a Reckless faring.

I have tinkered with the idea of putting the RF in the fairing to drive the front four speakers that don't need as much power and maybe putting an ARC 600.4 in the saddlebag, but those things are crazy expensive and I don't have any experience with them.

Does the ARC get as hot as the Rockford?
I'm running an Arc 600.4 it just gets a little warm which is completely normal.......................Cant speak for the RF

Thanks Rock. Fairing makes all the difference for stuffing two like-sized amps in there.

Yeah, they are solidly mounted for sure. Nothing will be moving around in there that is for sure. My biggest concern was heat and why the overkill with mostly 4 gauge. Can’t hurt and I got it all to fit through the channel under the tank so that was good...and I know quite a bit more about my bike now. And since I run my tunes from now phone through the Bluetooth to the head unit, I found a hand button made by Satechi for pause, play, advance, volume to avoid having to mess with the phone or hu while riding

Now mentioning the Focal Sport begs a question. Which do y'all prefer the Arc 600 or Focal Sport? Is the Focal much bigger than the Arc?

size specs are very close but the focal puts out more power, especially in 2ohm. The focal is also more expensive.

so I have both running now, they are pretty close in size and power slightly more power in the Focal. They both use the same heatsync so footprint is just about the same. $640 for the Arc $800 for the Focal but they sold me the Focal for $640 as well since they only had one Arc and not two. Heat is the same, both run warm but not hot. Very comparable, can’t go wrong with either one.

You guys need to price shop those FDPs a bit. $800 is way high.
