Buying amp. Biketronics or Rockford
ok you guys talked me into ditching the pbr300x2 amp. I知 going to buy either the biketronics 4180 or the Rockford Fosgate tm400xad. Which is the better amp? I値l be running fairing and tour pak speakers in a 2015 road glide with tour pak. I priced out installation kits, line levelers and amps and they come pretty close to each other in price. I値l be running 4 infinity 62.11i speakers until I can afford better. I got 4 of the infinity speakers new in unsealed boxes for $135. Also do I reuse the speaker harness already to the tour pak? If not do I just cut the new speaker wires and add connectors of some sort? Thanks ahead.

For the money you're going to spend for a new 4180, I'd throw a few more bucks with it and get the new Focal Sport and be done with it. The RF400/4 is not a good amp for a 4 speaker setup regardless of what you've read here unless you're running very efficient Pro Audio speakers. That amp works best when bridged so I'd take that one completely off the list. The 4180 is a solid amp but the lack of gain and crossover controls makes it a hard amp to dial in with the stock HU.

Way more ability to tune. Check out Atlanta Custom Bikers on FB. They are doing some awesome things with the DSR1.

I agree. Also its about fine tuning your sound not just blasting it. YMMV.
