Longtime Zumo user here. Is there a way to create custom POI's files from computer using Basecamp load it to memory stick then connecting it to Boom Box 6.5 GT? I don't see this in the Boom Box manual. And will it categorize it self? This is how I am used to using Zumo.

Not as far as I've seen. The GPX files are loaded as trips not POI's. You can categorize your POI's as anything you want in BC but they won't show up in any category on the bike. Furthermore, custom categories I have in BC won't appear on the Harley.

 

Respect, I guess those are a few of the shortcomings of Boom Box.
