Default 2015 Street Glide audio

Just acquired JL Audio speakers in saddle bag lids. Have stock speakers in fairing.
What amp should I use and what speakers should I replace the fairing speakers with?

There is a ton of high end speakers to choose from but as far as the amp goes i went with the Rockford Fosgat 4 x 100. It has internal cooling fans for heat. Compact and fits nicely on top of radio inside fairing.

There are a ton of options. I like the DB Drive WDX6MOTO @ 185.00 from SPORK Customs on Facebook.
You will need BT355 Line Levelers.
I would steer clear of the Fosgate amps there are much better amps for the coin. If you are on a budget the the Sound Stream PN.41000D can be had for 150 and puts out good power. You will also need a amp try. Head over to the audio section of the forums and they will get you on the right path.

Be aware that some of the amps will have interference with the FM reception, the Rockford Fosgate amp I have does not have that issue. I also have the Biketronics BT7P1 upgrade speakers and they work great.

The Rushmore bike don't suffer from that like the 13's and older.

I would agree with the statement about RF amps, if you’re talking about the PBR’s. They did have issues. But the newer TM400x4AD’s are fantastic, and hard to beat. They are known to underestimate their own power output, by a substantial margin. (100w rms is more like 120w rms @4 ohms)They are marine rated, class A & D, have 2 onboard cooling fans and are fully tunable. They can also be had for under $400. Mine has been incredibly reliable. If you have the JL C2’s in your bags, they’re great! I went with Hertz HCX165’s in my fairing, but you’ll have to upgrade your grills to some that protrude outward, away from your tweeters. I went with the Boom grills, for the bar and shield logo.

Hop depends on your budget, and end game . There are some new powerhouse amps in the mix Focal FDP Sport @4x175 rms...Bt 4250 @ 4x 250 rms both are around $800! SS 1000D is best bang for the buck RF TM 400 x4AD is also a nice option. DD AW 6.5 At28 tweet are another good choice for fairing but certainly not the only choices, like BT HAT's, Focal, Hertz, ect. Look on the Audio for sale section for good deals!

I would stay away from the PBR amps for sure with the exception of the RF TM 400x4 is ur using really efficient speakers on a 4 speaker setup. That amp is best bridged for most sled audio setups.

Moto suggested some very good options and I would recommend no less that 150ish Watts x 4 @ 4ohm as a general rule for traditional full range speakers.
