2015 street glide

Im pulling out the stock head unit and putting in the new sony double din. Ive already got some decent speakers, hertz hcx 165. But the pbr amp i got to drive them does not impress me at all. So i think ill be getting the arc 600.4 or maybe the pn4.1000 if it fits.

The 1000d will fit, there has been some recent threads with pics on how to do it...I have not done it, but many have,,,hopefully somebody with recent knowledge will chime in! If not, PM Baby Boy (5 day's 5 posts you can then PM) he is knowledgeable about that amp.

Are you going with just the 2 speakers? Both of those amps bridged will really make those speakers scream.

Just the 2 speakers. Thats all I need. I just dont want to under power these speakers because ive been told that they need plenty of it. I dont know how to “bridge” the setup but im gonna learn if thats the best wayto get the most out of the speakers. I think ill just get the arc amp if i have to modify the pn4.

I surely appreciate the info guys. Thanks.

For the money I would buy the sound stream bridge it buy some DB Drive WDX6MOTO Speakers. I have that combo and it is very loud and I am not bridged.
Bridging is simple makes a 4 channel amp a 2 channel. The DB's would be so loud you wouldn't be able to turn them all the way up without ear plugs.

Those speakers are for the most part bullet proof but you are right they need power and they are very crisp. The best amp I have found for those is the tm400x4ad bridged as it is warm amp a perfect setup for those speakers.

So that amp would be plenty of power to drive the hertz well?

Well I should’ve also asked does that amp fit inside the faring without issue?

It will indeed bridged and it will fit perfect in the fairing. That setup should sound amazing.

Well i just looked at the amp and they also sell a tm400x2 that has the same power for less and i dont plan on adding anymore speakers so this should work for a little less money.
