Help with ideas for audio upgrade
I just recently purchased a new street glide special (my first Harley), I am loving life on it compared to my victory Vegas . I would like to upgrade the audio system among the many things I have already upgraded. I am looking for a system that will have good hard hitting bass, I listen to a lot of heavy rock/metal/rap and a little bit of everything else depending on my mood. I have read good things on the biketronics , rockford , and JL audio amps for power options. I'm sure there are plenty more, I tend to lean to rockford and JL as I used their products I'm my car before, however this is a different monster to tackle since there is no cabin. I have ordered my lower fairings and will be installing speakers in there as well. So it will be 1 amp and 4 speaker system with good bass response, I would love to feel the bass hit but also what clarity (good balance of SAL and SPL). Is there anything out there capable? I don't mention budget because I firmly believe if you buy cheap you buy twice. So I am looking for tips and information from the experts here to see what is out there. Thank you and sorry for then lengthy post!

Brandon, I would say that the 3 top choices for an amp for a 4 speaker setup would be the Arc Moto 600.4, the Focal FDP Sport, and the BT 4250, the BT amp just came out. I myself am going to buy a 4250, I have the 4180 and luv it! The 4250 uses the same technology (there is a pic and info on BT's Facebook page). Speakers, DD AW 6.5 with AT28 tweeter, various Hertz, Db WX6 Motos, SP CM6, AD CX62 and BT HAT's are just some of the choices guy's are using..PA type speakers, like Prv's Neo 6.5's, MMats PA 601's. with horns (DD B3) are also top choices!
