Currently my system consists of a pair of 6 1/2 inch speakers and horns in my fairing and I have dual 6 x 9 lids with DDVO6X9’s in them. I was thinking of replacing one set of 6 x 9‘s with a 6 1/2 and horn so I would have a little bit more high-end. Or should I just run a horn in the empty opening of the 6 x 9 I’m debating which avenue to go I am currently running a Hertz HDP4 which runs 250 W RMS a channel at two homes I’m just not happy with four 6 x 9 midranges , is rather add some highs. If I ran a mid and horn each would see 65 watts or just a horn 125 watts , input?
I would Fab tweeter bridges for the front 6x9s and put a pair of DD vo B3s or Mmats DTX26T's there. You should get enough high end response from the horns in that location, they will just need to be wired on a different channels so that they can both be crossed effectively.

Can’t add another amp so only combo I could use for my amp is add some 8 ohm mid / horn combo that will get 65 watts each, add just a horn which will get 125 with just 1 Ddvo6x9 or another 6x9 with a horn or tweeter.
I am powering my Pioneers off a TN4-900D and they are loud with alot of highs, I have the highs EQ'd down guite abit. They may play nice with your current VO's. If you want to try a pair I have a spare set you cover the travel and I can loan them to you.
Appreciate the offer. Give me a few days before I decide which ave to go. Really want to know if I should go ts 6x9 or horn or 6.5 and horn. Do you have a video of your setup playing?
