Default Bluetooth

Is there a way to add Bluetooth to this amp? But still use the head unit if I wanted to play cds or radio?

Use 8 gauge wire for power and ground, stick an in line fuse close to the battery...run both power and ground to the battery. Knuconceptz is a good place to get wire. I had a HT amp and it had a harness that had power and ground in it but it was ten gauge. It was good enough for my BT 4180, but I think the CV requires at least 8 gauge...never ran that amp myself, but good feedback on here. You'll need to attach a remote turn on wire for amp...see where the HT amp is wired to! I just have to add that this info was already answered, earlier in this post!

With the help of the guys here I installed the b52 and the kappas in my 2015 sgs. Haven’t been able to ride much because of the snow, but the short ride I did take I was happy with my set up. I didn’t have to go to much past half volume to hear wereing my full face.
Man I was surprised in the difference in sound when wearing my full face helmet. I usually only wear it in the dead of winter but for some reason the stereo is LOUDER to me with that helmet than with my half helmet. I don't know if it is because there is less wind noise or the sound goes "up" into the helmet, but it was loud in there.

I think I paid a little less than this a couple of weeks ago, but it is a nice kit. Power and ground come wrapped together and speaker wire also has a secondary protective shield on it. Also comes with a Velcro pad that is real strong. Just FYI.

Hey BULA those look like high wattage resistors in the picture. What are those used for?

Hoyt, If you are talking about the blue piece that is the second piece that is in the line with the connectors. It is a fuse that goes in the black plastic case attached to the red power wire.

If you're using the stock HU, you can add the Metra BT-HD01 (Saddletramp) bluetooth interface to it. A number of us have added this unit. It's nice as you can use your stock hand controls to control it and most song titles & artist show on the stock HU screen. Here's a link to one online....

I see what he is talking about. Under the sheet of Velcro. They are white and blend in the background. They do look like resistors.
