I'll be installing some SP's in my lower fairings this week. Gonna take a little tweaking due to the OD of the SP's being about 1/4" larger than the pod but I think it's possible. Wish me luck!!

Alright guys, worked a little later than I anticipated but I did get one installed tonight! Trimmed about an 1/8" all the way around with a bench grinder(easy does it, took about 45min), drilled some holes to match my HD grilles and BOOM.....they're in. Will update once I get the other side in and get the amp tuned.

Trying to attach pic but having issues......

Thanks for the update Nitro, when you say you ground an 1/8 inch...what exactly did you use a bench grinder on I presume the speaker magnet??

No, no, no, just the speaker mount flange that actually mounts it to the pod. The OD was larger than the recess in the pod so I had to get creative. I measured and was pretty sure they were gonna require a spacer of some sort due to the depth, but I got home from work, got all the right tools out and found they were gonna be about an 1/8" from the back of the pod. Sorry, pics would have been helpful here lol
