Default lower fairing set up speakers and pods

so thanks for everyone helping me get my project going , currently running 2015 electra biktronics 4180 titan 2 pro in the fairing and arc moto 602 in rear pods. i have vented lowers and am looking for suggestions for what company to buy for pods, color is not a problem i paint. The speakers i need suggestions because my ears like the moto's and that what i am leaning at getting but i have read the sensitivity might be a problem running those speakers in parallel, so if it is what should i look at instead or will i be ok with the moto's.

Speakers run in parallel should have the same sensitivity rating (efficiency) so Moto's (89) and Pro's (92) would not work well in parallel...if you want moto's in your lowers you can run the TP pods (moto's) and lowers (moto's) in pararlel...but still will not be optimal without gains on the 4180..you'll have to use your fade control to balance out the volume your ears hear! I used Fairing Factory pods in my lowers..Harley pods are also a good choice for pods! Hope this helps!

that what i was afraid of, just learning on this audio stuff so trying to get it right. What should i be looking at for the lowers, I know biktronics recommended the hertz mid range stuff to me and i am looking for a little more low end for the front end.

X, without gain control on the 4180 you're limited with speaker selection, especially if your going to be running in parallel. I have BT Titan II's in my lowers they sound good in that location, another possibility is the DD CXS 6.5's. at 90 sensitivity! I will be replacing my 4180 for an amp with gains so I can run a PA spk. like MMats or PRV's (97 sensitivity) in my lowers for an increase in volume. Depends on what your end game is! Where in IL. are you located?

Thanks ill looks at the cxs’s , wish i would have know BT is comming out with a amp with gains i would have waited for better options. My end games is best i can do with a stock HU for now which is why i wnt BT amp for plug and play. I wish i had gains because my ears like the moto’s. Once the warranty is up ill probably yank it and go nutz since i know the HU is a major roadblock. I am up in the northen part of the state in mchenry county.

The HU is not a major roadblock. That is a myth.
A major BS myth.

As T stated people saying that the stock head unit is the weak link has been feeding you some bad info.
There are a few different ways to correct the signals coming from stock headunit to get it to sound from good to great when adding aftermarket audio to the Rushmores.

I saw were you said you were in Mchenery county. Moto Mike and myself are not to far (about 45 minutes) from you in Will Co.

I got family in morris i visit time to time and we do rides out that way. So if the HU **** is bs then my bigger problem would be lake of gain control? So i am back to the hertz or BT being better choice for sensitivity reasons.

If he ran a separate amp he could run whatever he wants in the lowers though, right?
