Friend is looking at this Hogtunes kit http://www.hogtunes.com/products/sel...4sg/combo1.php
for his 2014 SGS. I know kits are not preferred and I’ve tried to talk him out of it. Dollar wise what would be close that I could talk him into that would be better? Thanks

So here's the other thing you have to do for both "plug and play" and other systems:
-take fairing off
-remove stock speakers
-remove gas tank
-run power and ground to battery
-wire remote turn on
-install biketronics LL
-install amp bracket
-tune
-put everything back together
So if you want to spend less cash, spend a little more time and have a much better sounding system? Then don't go with the "plug and play" kits.
