Take it easy on the Soundstream Brother! Best Budget amp out there. Bar none.

Average Joe will likely pick a decent coax speaker, while the JL does put out a lot of under rated power at 75watts x4 or x6 (@ 4 ohms) depending on the amp.
The coax speakers are not as efficient as say a pro audio speaker and alot of time will require more watts on a bike at speed to be able to hear it.
Hope this helps.

An example could be something like the AW6 speaker that takes 150 watts plus to get it moving into its wheel house thus u would need to bridge this amp locking up channels 1-4, and leaving u 75 watts on 5 and 6 for 2 other speakers.

Point being, if you are interested in rolling in on this amp, as it is a damn fine SQ amp, a bit more care should be taken to match the entire setup versus purchasing the amp them hoping for the best as u build a coax or component setup. This amp with 4 PAs and Horns is probably one of the most popular being used as that type of efficiency in the speaker and amp pair very well together.

I don’t think the 4250 had ever been added to the website.

I think you're right. If it was there, I never saw it.

Another up date on the 4250! I took it out on one of my usual backroads ride for about 5 hrs. Previous to that I only heard it after a couple hrs. of tuning then beating it up the GRR to Black River Falls for the M&G (avg mph was 75-80)! So comparing the new 4250 to the 4180 on my usual ride cruising at 50-60 mph I could hear all my music better! The VO 6.5's in the lower were louder and hit harder and it woke up the HAT SE's and I could hear them better. they hit harder and I could hear a lot more detail in my music! I really like the way this amp sounds, still need a little tuning and I am going to try some different speakers in my fairing that will keep up with the other 3 sets! MM
