Default Soundstream with 6 speakers

So, I may have jumped the gun on my bike trying to get a few rides in with the new tunes before the winter. I put a new JVC HU, Soundstream Pn4.1000d amp, and Infinity Kappa 62.11 in the fairing and tourpak. It definitely sounds better than stock but it didn't sound real good at around 70 mph.

My thoughts were to take the speakers out of the tourpak and putting them in the lowers with adapters or having 6 speakers. Is it possible to put another set of speakers in with keeping the Kappa's or would it kill the amp? I tried doing some research but it confuses me a bit with the 2 ohm, 4 ohm, bridging, etc...

If adding speakers in the lowers, whats the cheapest I could go with for the adapters?

You'll have to swap out speakers somewhat. With the Kappas impedance you will not be able to run them in parallel, it will make the ohm load lower than the PN4 is stable at. How happy are you with the Kappas in the fairing?

What you could potentially do is get 2 sets of pro audio (PA) style speakers for your lowers and tour pak pods and keep a set of the Kappas in the fairing. The PA speakers will be louder and cut through the wind better to help you hear them at speed. 2 sets of 4ohm PA speakers in parallel on ch 3/4 and Kappas on ch 1/2 could make you happy.

To tell the truth, I only had a couple rides before the weather turned to crap. I would be interested in keeping the Kappas in the fairing and trying others in the lowers and tp. What would you suggest? Again, I'm trying to not spend a ton. I did get a decent price on the stuff I have though, $100 for the amp and around $130 for 4 speakers.

I can tell you from running those myself at one time, if you can't hear them at 70, then you don't have them tuned properly.

gotta agree here, at 3/4 volume on head unit, set your gains to 175w

I will try to tune them better using the tutorial on here and a multi-meter but I still want to entertain the idea of adding speakers in the lowers also. I can hear them on the freeway but just want a little more volume.
