Default Opinons on these?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Polk-Audi...9ZXTeg&vxp=mtr

Have a J&M amp bought from a member here and need a speaker upgrade.
Not looking to spend a bunch of money. Under $200 for a set of speakers for my Ultra Limited. Just want something that performs better than the stock system. It sounds like a portable transistor radio
I know there is a lot of discussion about the subject and I have been reading all I can. Not trying to beat that dead horse.
Maybe someone here has a set they want to sell
Thanks in advance
Jeff

Not bad speakers. They are budget friendly. What head unit do you have?

They are strictly an entry level speaker. As long as you're ok with that you'll be fine with them. The amp on the other hand - don't even need to know what model, sell it and start over.

With that amp I would look for the most efficient speaker possible. (look at db ratings)
Then find what fits in your budget. Also you may want to check out some in the 2ohm variety.

Looks like that amp is rated at 90 rms per channel...not bad power. What location are you looking to put speakers in...fairing and TP pods?

Hey Matt...you are correct sir! One good option would be the Infinity Kappa's at 2 ohm...Polk has a new speaker out that is also getting some good reviews, but I personally have not heard or used it...maybe some body who has experience with the new Polks can chime in! What would you recommend to the OP?
