I really appreciate all of the advice guys. Just trying to make best informed decision without being able to hear either speaker before purchase
There's several guys on the forum from Wisconsin bro! Not sure where you're at but they are all great guys and would help you in a heartbeat. it's getting chilly up that way but we have a few good days left.

From your previous posts, it seemed as if you're going for a budget minded system, which is why you got the recommendations on speakers that you got. None of those are bad choices but maybe the question should be asked....What's your budget? And future plans of upgrades.

I would like to keep it around $300-$400 for the speakers. I currently have the pn4.520d amp but will try to sell some things to upgrade that to the pn4.1000 amp. The only other thing I may add to the bike are lower speaker for when I remove tour pack. I don't want to loose any bad space and I am pretty sure I can be happy with a 4/6 speaker set up. I love rock music so I am looking for something that will play the genre well.
So kappas in the front. I have read that gannicus has recommended a pioneer for the rear pods and seen others use it in lowers. Would that be a decent sound setup to hear while riding? They are even cheaper than kappas so keeping cost down that much would be awesome if it's gonna sound good
