Just got my Bad Dad lids in. Going to be working on the install this week. Heard great things about the VO's. Had to go with J&M grills. The Boom audio right side grill is on back order?

One question is with the VO's there's 2 wires hardwired off of them. Run the speaker wires right to them or use the clips? (Does my question make sense?)

How do you like the Baddad lids? Mine are on order and I will be doing the same speakers as well. Looking forward to hearing some reports from you on this combo.

 

Where'd you get those bag clip/latches?

Here’s my paint matched Bad dad lids. DD VO’s will be here tomorrow or Monday.

 

Install complete. The VO's bolted right in with the speaker adapters from Bad Dad. They don't hit and the lids close perfectly. Just make sure your grills are all lined up and tight before you bolt in the speakers.

VO's are loud and clear. Need a road test once it stops raining.

 

Looks great. Did your lids come with adapters or is that an extra? The Shop I ordered from didn’t mention needing adapters.

 

Bad Dad provided and mounted the adapters. In addition they painted the lids.

Just remember mine's a 09, if that makes a difference with the lids? Call Bad Dad. Ask for John. He's familiar with my set of the speakers and adapters.
