Unhappy Radio interference.

I have a 2010 Ultra Classic with a stock Harmon Kardon unit. When the ignition switch in the "accessory" position a radio station will come in nearly crystal clear, If i move it to the "Run" position the same station will become very staticy even after the fuel pump turns off. I have played with the high beams and spot lights turning them on and off and it doesn't make a difference. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is causing it and what to do about it?

Have you just recently added an LED headlight?

Have you tried to unplug the headlight to see if it is the cause of your interference? I have ran into the same issues you are having in the past and the headlight was the problem.

For all of you that are having this issue due to LED headlights, you might want to install something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/121732318755...84.m1436.l2649
That should eliminate your troubles.

I do not have an LED headlight, but I will try unplugging it and see what happens.

So.... I unplugged my headlight and it did not make any difference. I then realized that a few months ago I replaced the little tiny front fender light with and LED one. I unplugged it and the radio cleared right up. Thanks for the help everyone. Hopefully this can help someone else too.
