When mine broke, I tried all the various fixes but ended up replacing them with the Alloy Art Strong Arm brackets

I welded one but decided to go the chopperdan0404 route and redo them all before they break , but still a little frustrating when basic brackets fail......

That is where I purchased mine and drill them in place. Cover or remove the speakers if you are that worried about metal shavings.

This is new to me. Only had my SG for about 2 months.
Im going to be doing my stereo and amp upgrade soon. Is this something that i should beef up while im in there?
What happens with this breaks? does the fairing rattle around? whats the issue?
Sorry to hijack
