Default Hybrid speakers?

Thinking that it's time to replace the Biketronic's 7.1 speakers and my audio guy that I have been working with for a while says that the Hybrid's are kick a$$.
Anybody know anything about them?
Was thinking about that it might be time to get rid of the Hog Tunes tweeter bar too.
Thinking about going with this;

You do know that the BT7.1's are Hybrid correct? Just don't believe that you'd be gaining much if anything at all.

your biketronics speakers are made by Hybrid Audio Tech (HAT).

Any recommendations that would be an improvement than what I have for staying with just 2 fairing speakers and possibly replacing the tweeter bar?

Not necessarily true. Just because Hybrid makes them doesn't mean that they are the same model that you have now. Compare the specifications.

Kinda like saying a Sportster and a RG are the same thing......a Harley is a Harley right?

I replaced the tweeters in the hogtunes bar with a set of Hertz HT25's, and it sounds great. There was a lot of fabrication, but he didn't want the four holes in his inner fairing showing.

The HAT's that are made for Biketronics are in the imagine series. There are 3 more levels up in the HAT lineup. Great high end car audio speakers in the top two tiers. But just that...high end car audio. After I have used PA speakers on a bike, I will never go back to high end car audio speakers. Talk to Alex at Bagger Audio Lab. You'll spend less money, and will love your system.

What about the Focal K2 Power 165 KRX2's?
They're awfully pricey, I'll give them that.

I can't stress enough to get with Alex at Bagger Audio Lab. These guys are doing things with bike audio that out performs the car audio stuff on bikes. You don't have to take my word. Ask some of the other audiophiles on here such as Gann, Bates, Slye and many others what their opinion of PA speakers on bikes. I have never been happier with my system, since I followed Alex's direction.

I agree with BaggerBill 100%. You don't have to spend a **** ton of money on high end speakers to achieve good sound on a bike. Pro Audio is the way to go. Several tried and tested speakers to choose from. MMats, Beyma, and PRV are all good choices.

No doubt. Thanks to Alex my system is insane!! Of course I'm more of a bass head than he is. So I'm not as loud as he is (and frankly nobody is) lol!! But all the credit goes to him for being the innovative guy he is and introducing me to Pro audio a few years back. Personally I had nothing to lose. I had tried and tested everything on the market and so had he! And I do mean everything!! Lol!! Like me. He lives and breathes this stuff 24/7. So yeah, I agree with Bagger 100% if you're lucky enough to catch his ear. Do it!!
