I went a little different route. I borrowed ideas from some other folks here such as baseman and CovertOlds and used BT30s and mounted them behind Boom! Stage I grills.
First, I removed the stock grills and separated the cloth covering from the plastic backing.
Second, I flipped each one over so the curve is towards the back so the tweeters wouldn't hit the grills. As a result you have to swap left and right sides to get the holes to line up.
Third, I cut the center out just enough for the tweeter to fit through.
Fourth, I inserted the tweeters into the holes using a thin spacer so the tweeter doesn't stick too far back when to nut is screwed on. I was worried about clearance to the woofers in the BT brackets.
Lastly a piece of treated grill cloth between the grill and the tweeters before installing in the fairing.

Thanks. I know the AT28s are a better tweeter but I thought they would be too tall to mount behind the grills. I also plan to check them again after a few miles of run time to make sure there are no cracks in the plastic from the vibrations or contact between the woofer cones and the tweeters.
