2015 street glide special stock. I have a question why is it that when I listen to music over my Bluetooth from my iPhone 7 that it is about half volume as compared to the radio.

I want to just upgrade my speakers. What would be the best ones to get and do I need to have the dealer flash the stereo to do this?

where is the volume set at on your phone?

 

Set the volume all the way up on your phone after you connect , my Samsung g8 defaults to about half volume after it disconnects , need to find a way/setting to over ride that ...

 

Radio or iPod via USB port will sound way better than iPhone 7 via Bluetooth or USB - I used all and my old iPod destroys the iPhone in terms of loudness and quality of sound. I honestly have no idea why though!

 

hmmm. my iphone 6 works pretty damn well connected via USB. i keep phone volume down 2 clicks from max

 

Do you have any issues with your s8 and the infotainment center? I can't get mine to play through USB. When I plug it in it looks for local music and I can't get Google Play Music to stream through it. Also with Bluetooth it will play Google Play Music streaming but won't show any artists name or track titles unless I download the album first.
