Looks like he had the pics hosted by photo bucket which now charges to host pics. I'm going to guess he's just like many others and refuses to pay. Maybe send him a PM and he could send you a pic or two.

Nice but how do they do it and why can't it be done with the grills that come with the DD aw6.5 speakers. If someone could point me in the direction of some how to pics. that would be nice.

the grilles that come come with the DD's won't be used in the fairing. In order to install those speakers, the fairing speaker pods need to be removed and Biketronics brackets need to be installed. This leaves a small gap between the speaker and the fairing. The hogtunes grilles would be installed in place of the harley ones. I think folks use a hole saw ran backwards to cut a hole in the center of the grille for the tweeter and cover it with grille fabric.

I went the economy route and have been satisfied for the money I have in it. Went with the Infinity Kappa 62.11's and the RF PBR300X2 , made my own plug & play harness , ran it into the high level imputs on the amp , nice improvement for around $300 .

U just need to get a hole bit from the hardware store that is exactly the size of the tweeter body and drill a hole in your grills. Cover the grill face with a black grill cloth that has been treated with Camp Dry or Scotch Guard and ur good to go. The treated grill cloth provides the obvious moisture protection but also gives it a nice clean look.

If this is beyond ur comfort level, send me the tweets and grills and I will mount that stuff for u.
