Default Upgrade speakers 2014 street glide special

Ok new to cycle audio here is what I want to do. Would like to change out stock speakers with something that can drop in the pods. I purchased a sound stream amp pn2 350d. Was thinking about focal speakers. The 165 ac. I don't want components. What else do I need to do the install? Other speaker suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance.

Well for your basics for a 14+ glide, you will need 6 feet of 8 gauge power and ground wires and some hardware to connect to the battery. 6 feet of 16 gauge speaker wire and likely some female spade connectors. A Biketronics BT355. Stinger 4000 series RCA, I think they sell 1.5' or less.

I've really only seen the Infinity Kappa speakers reccomended for that amp, but I'm sure others will chime in. If you went with the Kappas there would have to be some slight modifying to get them mounted inside the pods, potentially with the Focal as well.

Is there any chance of returning the amp?

I forgot to mention it's only a 2 speaker system. Do I need any kind of flash?

That amp is only 115 watts @ 4 ohms. 175 watts at 2 ohms. That's why it's a perfect fit for the infinity Kappa speakers as they are 2 ohm speakers. You would be much better off with an amp that produces 150+ @ 4 ohms. The Cerwin Vega B52 is a good one. If your budget permits you would also be better off with the AD designs CX62 speakers.

I have the the Rockford Fosgate HD14-Tkit, it came with everything, and was plug & play... install is a breeze, and it sounds amazing at any speed.

And yes, I did have bike flashed.
