Default Amp advice needed

I'm thinking about upgrading amps and looking for suggestions that will work good for my system. I'm looking for a warmer sound as loud as possible with current speakers. I have a 14 flhxs with the DD AW 6.5" speakers and tweeters. I'm only running fairing speakers at this point, may add lids later but not planned.

JL MX280/4 is a very good amp for the AW's. I'm pushing about 150-155 watts bridged to them with that amp and I'm very happy.

I've been looking at JL amps and hear good things about the XD400/4 also. The JL RD400/4 is a newer amp for JL. It carries the same specs as the xd and includes a clip led for dummies like me. Does anyone have any experience with the RD400/4 vs the XD400/4?

the RD is huge. You'll have to cut the amp tray for it to fit.
