I'm gonna try both the Pioneers and the VO's which do ya think I'll keep!
if you have support speakers in your rear stage that will cover the "highs", you will keep the VO, and they mount up with standard hole pattern, im droppin a set of horns in lids on a custom bridge mount, hope to have up n screamin by fri night

With my hogtune lids, I had to open up 2 holes on 1 side to get everything lined up. No sweat.

Just bore out the mounting holes on the speaker and slide that sob just a little bit to get it to fit perfect for the lid clearance. Just a tiny bit is all u will need.

Just to make sure I'm reading all this correctly, if I'm the kind of guy who is planning on the DD AWs up front, takes my TP off in the summer and does NOT have lowers or in the bag speakers, I still want the Pioneers for my lids, correct?

Either will be fine. I'm partial to the DD's because they have a little more low end. I had a customer running the AW's off the GZ amp in the fairing, with an Arc Moto pushing the Pioneers in the lids and Hertz Mille in the tourpack swap out the DD VO's and he liked those more. I think either will work.
