Mike I would enjoy what you have for now and plan and budget a full overhaul over the winter. The vo are a definite value and performer. There is also a place that makes a horn bridge for 13 down factory lids and may fit some aftermarket. Ideally you can run your fairing and tourpack off the 4180 front channels in parallel and just run Mmats top and bottom, get something else decent for rear pods, a second 4 channel for the vo and run some horns front and rear off the other 2 channels. Lots of ways to skin the cat so take your time.

Thx for the info!!!!

If I was a betting man, I would bet a 12 pack that the VOs will possibly work pretty good on your sled due to the other presence of highs and full range sound on your sled.
On the other hand, Im betting the customers sled is leaving a shix ton of sound off the table as he will not retain much of that hit/thump above 30 mph.

I would roll VOs on yours and Pioneers on the customers.

Just my 1.5 cents!!!!

T.

I just replaced my DX6x9s with the VO6x9s. Empty bags got good bass and pretty clear vocals. Once I stuffed all the crap in my bags it called for a retune. Not as much room in there now.

I LOVE having 4 ts-6900 pros in my lids. But it also helps having a w8 in each bag for the lower frequencies as well.

Need to use the BT adapters with the CVO lids. Horns on the Pioneer Pros not a problem. They fit like a glove with the adapters.

The VOs have a huge magnet, I have to pull up on my lids to open or close them.

I hope they are not too much bigger than the HAT's, I have to pull up and tilt the lid at just the right angle, and squeeze the edge of the lid past the 7.1 pod's and the magnet scrapes the top lip of the bottom bag...as it is with the HAT's!! I'm gonna try both the Pioneers and the VO's which do ya think I'll keep!
