Default Amp sound quality

I have convinced myself into a amp upgrade. I want my FM back and a 4 channel. I cureently have the ss pn4.1000d. Speakers I have the Kappas and kickers in the rear pods. Speaker upgrades will come looking to add lowers and probably move the kappas to the lowers. Anyway the BT4180 looks and is very popular is that the best bang for the buck it is about the same price as the Tm400x4ad or is there a new kid on the block? Thanks!

I have the same set up as you. My amp is mounted in the tourpack, and doesn't impact my FM.

without a speaker upgrade I wouldn't get another amp. Won't notice it. Depending on the selection of the speaker upgrade will be the time to decide on the amp. Do it at same time to not limit your speaker options to work around the amp selection. Example add a 600.4 arc. Will not sound a lot different but you will have the power to run most options of speakers. But you get the aw combo and need more than 150 per side ( may and may not need more) and have to bridge it then there were other options much better priced to get that power.

The Arc is the safe play.
