Default MMats and Tweeters

I am in the process of redoing my sons 10 SG. Will a set of JL Audio tr tweeters be enough to go with a set of MMats?

The tweeters are all ready cut into the dash and were part of a JL component set (JL Evolution TR 650 cwi) I would like to keep them If they will be enough for a set of MMats 601.4s In the fairing.

The setup so far:

Sony m70bt HU
MMats 601.4 in fairing (tentative)
JL Audio Tweters (tentative)
Pioneer 6900 pros in lids
Amp- to be decided

Your thoughts appreciated
Brad

No....a regular tweeter won't play loud enough to keep up brother. The MMats really play loud up to about 5-6k hz so you need a good horn tweeter that can provide equal volume.

Well that settles that. He doesn't want to lose any gauges or cut holes for horns. So for the next question. What speakers and amp would be a good fit with the sony hu and 6900s? looking for just 1 pair 6.5s for the fairing to make a four speaker set up.
I should ad he listens to country and classic rock.

Thanks Again
