Just ordered up all the additional things I need for the new install such as wires, distr. blocks, connectors etc.

While I'm in there I'll add the speaker wires for the lids once those are ready. I figure it's better to run everything now in the wire trough than later.

Still undecided for what I'm doing speaker and amp wise. Lots to think about.
I'm still recovering from the last bike audio upgrade. LOL

So the question is how big are you going to go?
Fairing, lowers, lids, bags?
Maybe alex can share the dimensions of that Mmat 150x6, that could do some damage.

That amp is pretty large in a square way. Something like 10x9 if I recall correctly.
Fairing and lids to start with. I'll add in the lowers later.

I'm trying to decide if I'm going all new or reuse some of the DD stuff I took off my Ultra when I traded it.

Still waiting on some feedback on certain speakers and their promise.

Phase 1: reuse AW6.5s in fairing powered by D4, B3 horns mounted under the radio powered by unknown amp at this time. DX6x9s in lids powered by NVX amp. Arc PSM to tune.

Phase 2 will be MMats in lowers and possibly fairing, VO6x9s in lids with horns as an option.

Just a thought can you fit the nvx and a jl280/4 in there. Reason ask is my pro 6X9 liked the nvx but Really likes the jl 280/4. use nvx for horns.

Good call. You can fit them both and D4 with no issues!

This is what I'm doing in the mean time until I get a little more scratch together. I'm making a run to New Mexico in a couple weeks and need the funds for that run.

AW6.5s with the AT28s in the fairing bridged with the D4. I kept all this from my Ultra before trading it in.

Lids will have the DX6x9s (still work after being filled with water) bridged with the NVX MVPA4. I kept all this from my Ultra before trading it in too.

The new toy to go in will be the Arc PSM. Hopefully BAL gets them in on Monday and ships it to me on Monday too. Hint, hint...

How do you like the DX6x9?
Have you compared them to the Pioneer's 6900s?

I haven't compared them to the Pioneers. I'm very happy with the DDs.
If you live where it rains a lot, you'll want to protect the DDs as they'll fill up with water in the motor. Once mine dried out, they still worked.
