Yes phone directly Bluetooth connected to the bt344. The hand controls then operate the bt module that works the phone. I can play, pause, volume up and down, and track forward and back.
The bt344 putsthe audio from the phone out to the amp. It hooks to the amp through the rca’s into the amp. Pretty much turns into a head unit for your phone. But without having to have a head unit. Hope I worded that correctly.

Dazoc,

What is the price for the BT344? I could not find it listed on the biketronics webpage. Thanks!

It was $350 when I bought it in June of last year. Was a bit pricey, but I like it as to have a more factory look. Mike was the one that told me about it, he said he was going to get it onto the website. Must not of yet.

So I can add the the Harley audio control switches, and run the wiring from the audio switch directly into the BT344? Then BT344 runs to the amp? Is the BT344 a Bluetooth to your phone then?

Thanks for assistance Dazoc!
MNRiding,

Did you hear back from Biketronics whether the BT344 is still available? If so has the price changed?

Thanks!

Yes, I did hear back. The BT344 is available and the cost it $350.00. Unfortunately, the problem is with the 2014 and up models, the BT344 does not work with the CAN bus and I would also have needed to add aftermarket switches (Mike said he thought the Performance Machine would work) which would make this set up relatively expensive.

I elected to order the Tsukayu V4.0 Bluetooth remote. I could not find any reviews or information on running this without a fairing. It was $150.00, and I gave it a shot. Works great! Mounted right on the left grip, very small and is not it the way. I now have thumb controls on the handlebar for volume, etc. to run my phone

When I installed my apes on my bike I added the the extra switches like Dazoc for when somebody made something like the DT344.

Might have to wait till next year's winter upgrades and for now keep using my handlebar boom.

Thanks for the update!!!
