Default 8's in bags. Big hole cutout? Or a bunch of holes?

For those who have 8's in the bags, did u guys do a big 8" cutout or a bunch of smaller holes to get the bass out? Im sure what to do. Thanks.

Cut the hole man. Doesn't sound the same with a bunch of little holes.

I was debating this exact same thing and everyone I spoke to (that I care to trust) said that I needed a larger hole. So I decided to go with the American hard bag set up and I am very happy I did. You pay for it but it's a great setup.

I was already heading towards the one big hole. Ill order the speaker grills now then.

Just cut it!

Make sure you locate where it's going, trace the inside of a template or the speaker ring on the outside of the bag, start with jigsaw, finish with router.

could you do it with a rotozip?

As long as you can follow the circle. They are hard to control.
I just did mine the other day with a mini router and a home made circular jig (piece of wood) clamped to the bag. Easy to do but a little apprehension as these are my new custom painted stretched bags.

I don't see why not. I only used a router (had to buy it) cause i saw more use for it around the house. I almost bought one of these for my dremel

I just hope its not hard with the dynamat and carpet i have in the bags.
