Default Crashbar/engine guard mounted speakers

Anyone have speakers mounted on their crashbar? I just got an 03 Fatboy. Love the bike but I'd like to have some music while I ride. I don't want to add a fairing and I don't like the looks of handlebar mounted speakers..

I have speakers mounted on the engine guards of my softail deluxe. I also have the same speakers mounted on my handlebars for a total of 4 speakers. Honestly, I can't hear the crashbar speakers at all while riding, even at low speeds. I am sure a lot of this has to do with the handlebar speakers being closer to my ear level but in general if you are just doing engine guard mounted speakers I am not that sure you will really be able to hear much while riding. You also have to factor in that your handlebar speakers will have the added advantage of a windshield in most cases and this definitely helps with both sound quality and loudness as well.
