THANKS for the info. Seeing as you went with the Aquatic-HS, did you also opt for the SiriusXM-Connect Vehicle Tuner?

I agree with Bates. All of us here put in countless hours of work to reach the conclusions we reach for the best audio we can achieve. To hear a guy say he doesn't want to take the TIME to sort though all the post is an insult to all of us who do.

Apologies
Again, I never meant to insult anyone or the work that they have put in. I am completely overwhelmed by some of the technical talk and specs and I'm struggling to process it all. I apologize if I offended..not my intention at all.

Been doing a bit more research, found these items...
Kenwood KMR-D765BT receiver
MBQuart NA1-400.2 amp
Scosche HDSWC1 handlebar control module
MB Quart ZK1-116 6.5" speakers
Has anyone got any experience with these? I really liked the fact that the MB Quart amp is already waterproof/marine grade.
As far as upgrading from the 5.25" stock speakers to the 6.5" speakers, are you guys just running adapter rings on the back side of the fairing?

MB Quart NA1-400.2 - Pros = 200 watts per speaker. Cons = 4 ohms only
MB Quart ZK1-116 6.5 speakers. Pros = Power Handling. Cons = Sensitivity
This set up is a little outside the box and unconventional on the forum. But it's actually not a bad set up with the exception of the cons listed above. Typically you want an amp that's 2 or 4 ohm compatible. The JL MHX 280/4 would be a better choice.
Speakers for the upper fairing are normally 90db and above. But with the amp pushing 200watts. Not a problem. The AD designs CX62 speakers would be a better choice. You did good for a guy with 10 post. Welcome to the forum!
