Default Not a fan of the Mutazu 6x9 speaker lids

I liked the price and I was hoping I could modify the adapter so it isn't so deep. After getting these in the mail today, not gonna happen.
It's basically going to be a place for water to fill up. Like it's a small pond in my lids. LOL

I need to find lids where the speaker will either mount on top or directly to the lid with a very thin adapter.

Lids are on hold now until I can find the right lids without having to sell my kids.

The Hogtunes Lids are designed specifically for 6x9 speakers and come with everything you need. No adapters needed. Eastern Performance Cycle, among others sells them without speakers.

I don't ever recommend cycle sounds but they're going out of business, might want to check for a decent price on lids that only have a very thin adapter ring. I personally don't care for the lids but if you're looking for inexpensive that might be the ticket for you. I don't think you can buy anything from their website but you should still be able to go there and see the products. you have to call to get pricing and place orders.

After running into bass killing tour pak, how much bass do the saddlebags kill?
It's a smaller area with larger speakers.

It's all about the way the speakers are installed. If you're referring to above 30MPH, then it just bees that way.

Just sitting in my garage the fairing speakers kill any sound coming from behind.
