Default Bass in one Hard Saddle bag: how much? how cheap?

one of my bags is scratched up bad enough to be replaced.

I think I will get a replacement off the forum. however, I am thinking about putting a cheap amp & sub in the damaged bag, and use it for riding around town.

if we go on a trip, take off the subwoofer bag, and throw the empty bag on it & put wife's crap in there.

does a SG run speaker wires to the backend of the chassis?

is this possible/simple/stupid?

I was thinking one 6x9 laying along side the shock, facing the tire.
iirc, some companies used to make Dual Voice Coil 6x9's

tell me if I am crazy or whatever. just kinda thinking out loud.

Could be a fun experiment bro. Go big man!!!!

Toss a couple 8s inside the bag facing the wheel!!!! Some of these 8s u can get pretty damn cheap.

U will have to wire it all up with quick disconnects but not a major deal at all. SG does not have the wire stubbed out for u.

Fun stuff bro!!! Get creative!!! Only problem that will occur is when u take the bag off and ride without it as u will miss it dearly.

SG does not come with the rear audio wiring and after looking at it I personally decided that there were a lot of better ways to spend $200. For much better wiring you would spend a fraction of that.

Ok, I was thinking the OEM wiring would not be useful, I have some shielded audio wires.

after riding it a while this week, it seems like it would be better to do something full range, and still aim it at the rear wheel, and good full range sound, vice good bass & crappy full range from the OEM speakers.

its all day dreaming till tax returns come back....
