Default Inner fairing road glide

Decided to do 4 speaker setup in my road glide inner fairing. Pulled it apart today cause it was 45 degrees out. Took me 40 minutes to take it apart. I've been stressing out about it for 2 months. Jeez I feel like an idiot. Gonna be bad azz when done.

Putting 4 kicker cs65 6.5 in it. Factory fairing. 2 adapters from 5.25 to 6.5 in factory spots. Then gonna add 2 in the inner pointed towards the forks. Got the holes marked today but forgot my dremel at home so couldn't cut em out.

Kicker kxm 400.2, size is a little on the big side but a little custom bracketry and it should fit fine.

Hey KB,

There are much better amp options with much smaller footprints.

At 4 ohms that amp only puts out 50 Watts RMS x 4.

This is straight off their spec sheet.

Model: KXM400.4
RMS Power
@ 14.4V, 4 stereo,  1% THD+N 50W x 4
@ 14.4V, 2 stereo,  1% THD+N 100W x 4
@ 14.4V, 4 bridged,  1% THD+N 200W x 2
Length | in. [cm] 11 3/16 [28.4]
Height | in. [cm] 2 3/16 [5.5]
Width | in. [cm] 8 5/16 [21]
Frequency Response ± 1dB 10Hz–20KHz
Signal-to-noise Ratio >95dB, A-weighted, @ rated power
Input Sensitivity Low Level: 125mV–5V
High Level: 250mV–10V
Electronic Crossover Amp 1: OFF/HP/LP; Variable 10–5,000Hz with X10 switch
Amp 2: OFF/HP/LP/BP; Variable HP, 10–500Hz;
Variable LP, 40–5,000Hz with 10X switch
Slope: 24dB/octave
KICK EQ Bass Boost Variable 0–18dB @ 40Hz

Your going to be really disappointed with your system with just 50 watts RMS.

Look in the classifieds here and see if there are not some much better options

Its 400.2 not 400.4
Not much different but slightly

I didnt pay for it besides shipping. Its getting wired 2 4 ohm speakers wired to 2 ohms per channel. Should be about 100 watts per speaker. I've ridden the same bike thursday in vegas with the same setup it had 6x9 in the bags and tour pack. Faded forward and I liked what I heard. Kicker rep sent me the stuff. If it don't work all I did was pay for shipping.
