Default 10 Volt Variation when bike is running

Just got the 1.20.1 update installed (thanks, Bertk).

1,000 Hz Test tone - 0db

Bass & Treble set to the middle position (Boom Box 6.5)

Fade set to Front

AVC set to OFF

Testing with a DMM, I set the amp gains at 25 VAC with the bike "Off". Started the engine and it goes up to 34.8 VAC at idle. (YIKES!)

Any suggestions as to what's going on?

Just tried setting Bass & Treble to ZERO bars showing - Still getting almost a 10 VAC variance.

HELP!

I think I found the answer to my problem with the voltage variation:

If there's something else contributing to my problem, please chime in.

As others stated buddy always set the gains with the bike warmed up and running. Keep in mind The voltage output varies from start up to warmed up so warm her up.
Noting else will be contributing to the spike.

WTR, Tesnevo makes a good point. Before starting the bike to adjust Gains fully charge the battery and check it with the DMM. It should read around 13volts DC. Take a look at the volt meter in the fairing after starting the bike and see if it's reading normal output, just over 14 volts.
