Default Rockford Fosgate PBR300X2.... Stage II Boom Audio

Anybody running this... I'm thinking of upgrading my 12 SG to a 17 SGS... and maybe upgrading the speakers to the Boom II. Thanks in advance.

Thankfully you are asking this before buying. These guys will set you up right.

What are you looking at, just fairing? Fairing/lowers/tour pac, fairing/lids?

Matt,
Thanks, initially just fairing... that's what I have now, with the upgraded Electra Glide speakers. Possibly saddlebag speakers later....

Most if not everyone here will tell ya to ditch the boom speakers. Many many better options for the money. So if you want to stick with the boom speakers you might be stuck with the boom amp (but im not 100% sure).

Most guys that plan to add in the future will go for the BT4180, Arc 600.4, Hertz HDP4, Diamond 4v2, DD D4 and on the budget end Soundstream PN4.1000D, CV B54, (2) JL MHX 280/4. It all depends on the speakers you will end up using.

Just let the guys know what your end goal will be # of speaker and location wise and sound wise (loud and clear at 80mph or decently loud and warm on the back roads and around town) and a realistic budget. $500-1000 can go much farther with aftermarket than it will with Boom.

Can't be done. The Boom speakers are bi amped woofer and tweeter. The stuff Matt mentioned above us what u want.

What Haze said. Just for clarification Bi amped means two amps. One for the woofer and one for the tweeters.
