[QUOTE=WestTexasRanger;15818167]Thanks! I'm back on the same page as you guys. I'll try not to blink, less I be left behind, again.[/QUOT. Gotts be a better way than multiple cables y adapters?

Found some similar Y adapters at the local audio supply shop and now playing some serious panty dropper "stereo" shix boys!!!!

Actually not that big of a difference, unless it's that song that dances around the various stages by design. But it's all about these numerous little details that add up to make a difference.

Made it work to feed 2 amps bridged in stereo from one BT355 LL via the Y adapter/coupler (pictured in previous threads), 4 18" Y RCAs (1 male to 2 female), and 8 male to male couplers at the amp inputs. Eliminated about 10' of shix.

The way to improve upon this setup is to somehow find good quality 18" to 24" 1 male to 2 male Y RCAs thus eliminating the 8 male to male coupler connections at the amp. Kind of a hillbilly set up for now but the bridged "stereo" mission is complete for about $25. Much cleaner install, regardless.

Thx for the info exchange brothas!!!!! Big thanks to Flying Broke for pouring gas on this topic that I am a total caveman on.

T.

Way to go T. The only way to go 1m/2m Y is to buy male male adapters for the female side. No one makes a quality male to 2 male y splitter. A lot of you run lowers but I am throwing a wrench in this for a minute. I would only be concerned with the fairing being in stereo. Let the rest just be. You wont notice it much if at all and really will save on a lot of interconnect cables. Also at the end of the day, I would also plan setups that would not require having to bridge the front stage. Easier said than done, but I felt I was wasting power on minimal gains.

All in due time. Once I have everything installed I'll have a run down of everything. Things are getting tested out before they get sent to me. I'll have more on my build thread soon.

The attached detail from the JL owners manual show you how to wire it both ways. Please note that the Channel Selector Switch is a different position in each application.

Using the the lower wiring diagram:

...Set the Channel Selector to "4"

...Install RCA "Y" adapters as shown to connect from your radio (or Line Leveler) to the amp

...Wire the speakers as shown.

Voila! You now have front speakers running from a bridged amp in STEREO.

By the way: Led Zepplin's "Whole Lotta Love" would suck in Mono!
I'm relatively new to this area of the forum and have recently purchased a new set up. I have the DD D4 amp that I planned on bridging to run a set of AW 6.5 and AT28 in the fairing. I'm trying to follow this as best I can, but am wondering if the source has 4 outs, why not use the RL and RR to the amp instead of splitting the front?
