Default EQ settings needed for Kenwood 998

I am unable to search for EQ on this forum because it is less than the required three characters. And I read through 2 hours of post and I could not find it.

I have seen pictures of EQ settings in threads of the 998 and I cant find them now.

Can someone please tell me what settings they are using for each band in the EQ section or a link to a post would help?

Using Kenwood 998, BT4180, BT 7.1 front fairing, Hertz 165 in the lowers.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. The two links was what I was searching for. That should work for me.

Thanks

Rick, these are my latest settings. Using the BT amp ONLY, you will want to use the settings highlighted in RED. This will allow an clean un-distorted signal up to volume 34. I would suggest using volume 33 as a safety margin.

To get you started give these setting a try.
It helps to keep notes by printing out page 18-23 from the manual
Note: Set or readjust the gains on the amp after making these settings.

(*) Set to your liking
Select the Source you are using to listen to music on!
Starting on Page 18
Set Drive Equalizer to OFF
Set Preset Equalizer to USER
* Manual Equalizer - Adjust GAINS to each Band:
Band1 = 3
Band2 = 2
Band3 = 2
Band4 = 1
Band5 = 0
Band6 = 0
Band7 = 0
Band8 = 0
Band9 = 0
Band10 = 1
Band11 = 2
Band12 = 3
Band13 = 3

Q Factor: 1.50
Bass EXT: OFF

Pro Setup
DSP Set: Through
Car type: OFF

I'm gonna be using the X701 with a PN4.1000 feeding Kappas and SPR60s. Will my settings be the same?

A new eXcelon model I see. The audio options look very similar to the x998. So yes use the setting above to start with.
Note: I just updated the FC / crossover settings.

I wanted the rear aux and usb connections. Then routed them into the middle windshield pouch. Along with a combo mini usb / lightening charge cable.

Thanks for continuing to update settings on this hu. I just put a set of BT 7.1s in my fairing and am really struggling to get these to sound good. The updated settings helped. Still pretty compressed, almost like they are in a box or something.
