Default Sony xav ax100

I heard they are making install kits for this unit for the 14 up streetsglide. No cutting, it will fit in stock location. Its a single DIN with double DIN screen.

That head unit is relatively new and yes we are currently working an on install kit for it. We have a couple on the way to the shop to work on a final mounting solution. It will basically be the exact size of the stock head unit.

From what I can find, it's like the MEX-M100BT and shares a front/rear HPF. Can you verify for me if this is the case?

Yes sir I do believe you are correct. I will have to wait to confirm that with 100 percent certainty until I get it in front of me. Sony is being a bit of a pain with specs and such since tis relatively new. I will most definitely keep you all apprised as I find out any more info.

They are at the same stage as the rest of us are. They have one they mocked up the same as we have. As of yet there is no production mpunting kit. It is still one off stage.

Default No Nav?

Am I reading correctly that there is no navigation (except through your phone) and no auxiliary in?

That's how I was reading it too. Good looking unit but I like to have separate navigation because so many places I go I lose phone signal. The Biketronics Alpine unit is looking AWESOME! Can't wait to see it in action.

The NAV is the tough part to crack....and having similar hand control functionality as the stock HU. "Audio" guys could care less...heck they have their bags filled up with speakers, and guys who "ride" want NAV, functionality and bag space. It will be super cool once folks figure out how to mount it, but likely won't satisfy everyone. What's the price on those radios?
