Default 2014 ulyra classic speakers

Ok audio guru's. I just got myself a 2014 ultra classic. I currently have a bt4180 amp, just purchased biketronics speaker brackets, line levelers, breakout harness. I would like some suggestions on 4 speaker setup and 6 speaker setup (lowers). Preferably I would like to keep the price to under 300 per set. Also I have the stock 4.3 radio Thanks in advanced.

Considering you have the 4.3 radio I would go another route.
I would return the LL's and purchase the BT radio install kit and a aftermarket radio.
Hold off on the lower speakers and concentrate on the fairing and TP speakers for now.
The Hertz HCX 165 will fit in the TP pods with 1/2" spacers.
The Hertz Mille Pros are my favorite speakers in the TP pods and would require the V-Twin Audio adapters.
As for the fairing, there are a lot of choices out there. Components are recommended if budget allows.

Not a guru but have pissed away a bunch of cash on speaks, and with that being said u should do very well with that budget.

I would shift a few bucks in ur budget towards the fairing as the front stage and skimp a little but on the other stages.

I would think about something like the Hertz MPK 165 components or similar in the fairing the find some good drop ins for the TP Pods depending on your choice of music.

U will have to parallel 2 sets so we just need to get 2 of these 3 sets to be real close in SPL and 4 ohm.

Are ur lowers wet?
What type of tunes u listen to?

You like these better than the 602's? Obviously you do hence the "my favorite speakers in the TP" comment.

What speakers are you running in the fairing of the Rushmore? Still with the 4180?

I had the 602's in the TP pods and like the Mille's better in that location. The Mille's get just as loud as the 602's running off of the BT4180. To my ears the Mille's sound warmer, and have better SQ. I can hear them clearly at 75 with a slight fade to the rear. In the fairing I'm running the Focal KRX2 Components.

Hertz MPK in fairing, Hertz MPX in TP Pods & new HU might be the ticket. Xmas gift will be the lowers. The Focal PC165 do well in the TP pods too.

You could easily go any direction with the coax for lowers and pods and drop a tier but u will always kick urself for not taking a bigger bite the first time.

By far the best performing speakers I've tried in the lowers!!! The SV's have a presents even at 70, not clear at that speed but you know their there. All the other speakers I tried fall flat at 45-50.
