Grab yourself a set of Pioneer Pro 6900 speakers and bridge the NVX to em.

You will need 4 of these spacers:

Glue two of the spacers together with Gorilla super glue. Once glued together each spacer will give you about an inch clearance to mount your speakers in the bags. These speakers need an inch due to the horn extension.

These will make a huge difference in the sound you have now. If you want to install another set they will have to be installed over the shock hump. You would then just wire in parallel of the back channel of the 4180. Also you would need different spacers for the shock hump.

Yeah that's right. I had 6 Moto 692's in my bags at one time. Two in the lids and 4 in the saddle bags. The pioneer pro's are louder and have more bass. I now have 4 pioneer pros in my bags and they are louder and have more bass than the 6 692's I had in there.

The 692's are great speakers man but it takes too much power for them to get loud and I was running too many speakers at the time and had my power stretched out too thin.

I wouldn't say better. Just more bang for the buck. The focals and the Hertz are name brand speakers."Brand" being the operative word. Due to their reputation for high end quality products the consumer mark up on said products is sky high. A set of Hertz MPX 690.3 6x9 speakers are about $565 bucks from ABT. Compared to the Pioneer Pro6900 @ $130 bucks. I've heard both speakers. Both sound good. But the Pioneers have more bass. Bass is normally what guys are looking for out of a 6x9. For that reason it makes more sense to purchase the pioneers.

Bobby Joe,
If u are wanting to use what u have in inventory, and limit cash flowing out, get an NVX, a set of Pioneer Pros and Lids.

Put Moto 692 inside bags off the NVX bridged.
Run the Pioneer Pros in the lids off the rear 4180 channel and off u go. I ran that set up for quite a while and it was pretty damn good sound.

Use 1/2 inch spacers for the 692s in the bags. If u drop Pioneers inside the bags as well then they do sell 1" spacers that work very well with the Horn Tweet that sticks out about an inch.
