I'm curious if those of you who have kept their BoomAudio system updated are pleased with the results. Vote above.

I find it hard to believe that only 16 forum members did or considered doing the most recent BoomAudio update.

I did mine last night and I had no issues at all. I like the fact you don't have to press accept to move past the boot screen. I'm running a CVB4 amp with Biketronics line levelers and I didn't have to adjust anything and it still sounds great.

I did 1.20.1 and didn't have any negative events with it. Did od 1.20.2 and could not get my system to do anything but show the clock. I put 1.20.1 back on and have no issues.

I had it installed for a short time with no problems. After installing my amp and speakers, I did 1.19.0 to see how it sounded. sticking with 1.19.0 for now

Hell, I'm still all in with 1.20.2!!!!! Not a single damn hiccup. Kind of wish it would screw up just so I knew my HU was actually responsive to updates.

With all the negative crap I've heard on 1.20.2 ,I refuse to try it.

I tried 1.20.2. Was fine for the first two rides. Third ride, got the clock/non responsive thing 3 times. Back to 1.20.1 now. Was 1.19.0 before 1.20.1 and it sounds the same with both to me. I'll stick with 1.20.1 until they release a newer better one that isn't fubarred.

I will mention that 1.20.2 seemed to alter the sound a little. Seemed a little fuller in the midrange and the highs weren't as bright. I didn't like it at first but it grew on me. Until it stopped coming on altogether. Yeah that's a deal breaker lol.

Can't wait for BT to come out with their Double Din where these are null and void! With a better Nav,, that has lifetime updates, or much more reasonable recent ones.... I believe I'm at 1.20.0 or 1,, didn't know about 2. Won't mess with it.
